Last night we went to a fun, little dinner party and brought this simple appetizer. I wanted something quick, easy, and light and instantly thought of this family favorite.
It was the perfect compliment to a mild summer evening spent sipping wine and enjoying friends.
1 bunch asparagus
4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
extra virgin olive oil
Trim the aparagus ends. Steam asparagus for about 5 minutes until for tender, but still crisp. Let cool. Wrap a thin piece of prosciutto around each piece of asparagus. Arrange on a platter and drizzle with olive oil.
